Enjoy the colour, energy and excitement of Irish Dancing with students from the Kay-Hallissey Irish Dance School. Based in Christchurch this is one of the top Irish Dance schools with many students winning Championships.

On the Duncan Cotterill Stage 10.50am – 11.30am

With demonstrations of Scottish County Dancing you might even get the chance to have a whirl.  Brought to you by Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society Canterbury Region.

On the race track site 100 10.45am and 2pm 

Scottish-born singer Karra Rhodes, now living in Selwyn, brings her rich vocals and Celtic flair to the Hororātā Highland Games stage. Don’t miss her captivating performance!

On the Duncan Cotterill Stage 2.40pm

Willie McArthur, a Christchurch-based multi-instrumentalist, brings his electrifying one-man band performance to the Hororata Highland Games. With his unique blend of Irish, country, pop rock, and party anthems, Willie delivers high-energy shows that captivate audiences. Utilizing three guitars, harmonica, and percussion, he creates a full-band. Don’t miss this musical force of nature live at the Highland Games!
