Children under 16 years are FREE!
Please note no gates sales at this event.
General Admission tickets will be available online on the day, if not sold out prior.
No dogs, no BYO alcohol.

All prices displayed include ticketing fees and credit card fees. A limited number of tickets are available at each price point.

Under 16 years are free. We do ask that you claim a ticket for children so we know numbers.  Any children must be with a parent or guardian. Youth 16 years and over need to purchase an adult ticket.

Eventfinda is our exclusive ticketing partner and proceeds will be held in Trust until the event.

FAQ

Under an hour’s drive from Christchurch, Ashburton and Rolleston. Gates are open 7.30am for competitors and 9 am for visitors.
We will only have gate sales if not sold out prior. You can buy tickets online up until 2pm on the day of the event (unless sold out), we recommend buying online.
You can buy hard copy tickets at GAS Hororata or Rose and Thistle Pub Papanui – no credit cards.

We welcome certified self-contained vehicles on site from 12 pm – 8pm Friday 4th of November (gates will close 8pm) and depart by 5 pm Monday 7th of November.  Enter through Gate C. A $10 per van per night donation is appreciated.  Please note there will be no access to event toilets until 9 am Saturday and they will be close 5 pm Saturday night. Please note we have written permission from the Selwyn District Council to allow this and they have stipulated vehicles must be certified self-contained. Camping in tents is not permitted.

Please note the Hororata Highland Games is a licensed venue and BYO alcohol is not permitted.  We will be conducting bag searches at the gate.

No dogs are allowed in the venue.

There is ample FREE parking on site in a well-managed car park.
