The Hororātā Mechanical Swap Meet has a NO BRIC-A-BRAC and HOUSEHOLD JUNK policy. If you bring china and soft toys to this event you will be told to go home
The Hororātā Mechanical Swap Meet sees over 100 sellers and 1,500 buyers converge on the Hororātā Domain to buy, sell, barter, and find that rare part they have been searching for!
This is a Hororātā Community Trust event for the benefit of our community. This year groups benefitting from this event are Glentunnel Primary School, Hororātā Historical Society and Glentunnel Residents Committee. Darfield Rural Women and Hororātā Primary School will benefit by offering food at the event.
The event is held wet or fine. There are Hororata Pies and Bacon Butties on offer. Sites are $20, no need to book just roll up on the day from 7am. General public gates open at 7.30pm. Adults $5, kids free.
