Sunday 4th December Hororata Domain 4 pm – 7.30 pm
The Hororata Community Trust has joined with the Hororata Parish and Fire Brigade to bring this event to the Hororata Domain for a second year.
This is a free event for the community to come together, relax and celebrate. Lots of free activities including soft archery, pedal mania, face painting, balloon twisting, and more. The fire brigade will have their slip n slide set up so kids need to bring their togs!
There is a great lineup of performers who will take to the stage for the afternoon including the Malvern School of Music, Selwyn Community Choir, Noel Nielsen, the Rolleston Brass Band, Duncan Chisholm, and The Bad Revival job Band.
There will also be food for sale with coffee, ice cream, hot chips, sausage sizzle and Hungarian-style fried bread. Cash will be required for food stalls.
People are encouraged to bring their own chairs and picnic rugs as the is no seating provided.
There will be a ‘Giving Tree’ which people can make donations of toys and food which will then be given to the Darfield Food Bank.
This is a free event, no registration is needed.
Thanks to the Selwyn District Council, and Creative Communities for their support
