The Hororātā Community Trust is proud to share that the Hororātā Hall has been selected as one of 10 winners nationwide in the Rabobank Good Deeds Community Competition.

This funding will go towards purchasing new tables and chairs for the Hall — a practical upgrade that will make a real difference to how the space is used. Lighter, more functional furniture will make set-up easier for volunteers, improve accessibility, and support the wide range of events and groups that rely on the Hall each week.

The Trust would like to sincerely thank Rabobank for their support of rural communities like Hororātā. This is a practical contribution that will be felt every time the Hall doors are opened.

It’s also a reflection of the ongoing community effort behind the Hall — those who use it, look after it, and continue to invest their time to keep it going strong.
