Violets and primroses flower within the woodland and brighten the homestead garden as the spring bloom begins. Visitors can arrive between 11.00am and 2.30pm (gates close at 3.00pm). Bring your picnic to have on the lawn or in the woodland.

August is always special, with the snowdrops in the woodland becoming more impressive each year.
