Join the Windwhistle Winter Sports Club on Saturday 9th August high above the clouds at 1800 metres for a truly iconic day on the Mt Olympus Tarn, perched right at the top of the ski field.
Whether you’re a curling pro or just here for the banter, it’s all about good times, questionable technique, and serious mountain vibes.

Where: The Tarn, Mt Olympus - Who: Anyone keen. Enter a team on the day or just rock up and join one.
- Fancy dress is optional, but strongly encouraged — this is Mt Olympus after all.
Don’t want to ride the tow to the Tarn? Heli rides are available. Because arriving by helicopter to a mountaintop curling comp is peak energy. Heli leaves Bottom Hut 10am. Payment cash on the day. Cost only $160 per person – cheap for a scenic flight in the mountains to a stunning destination.
A classic Mt O lunch can be ordered to be enjoyed at the Tarn and other refreshments available. (additional cost). Email info@mtolympus.co.nz if you are keen for a heli lift.
