Hororata Night Glow

Experience hot air balloons firing up the night sky!

Thank you to everyone who came to the 2018 Hororata Night Glow. This event, staged by the Hororata Commuity Trust for the benefit of our community was a huge success. One of the main aims of the Night Glow was to establish the festival to become a major contributor to the fundraising for the new Hororata Community Centre. The Hororata Community Trust feels this aim has been achieved and is looking to grow the event in the future. Thank you for helping make our community glow! We can’t wait to do it again, watch this space.

Balloonists from all over New Zealand are travelling to this event, the only one of its kind in the South Island, providing a unique opportunity to experience hot air balloons lighting up the night sky, glowing in unison to music.

Surrounding the Night Glow will be an autumn festival including live music, children’s entertainment and an amazing array of street food, this unique autumn festival will entertain the whole family.
