Mt Olympus Curling Championship
Mt Olympus Ski Field, Lake Coleridge

Mt Olympus Ski Field has one of New Zealand’s highest altitude curling rings on the ‘tarn’. Each year the Club runs a fun Curling competition. This event started in 2012 and has become a staple of the winter event calendar. You don’t need to be a expert curler, this is a great day for all. Mid-Winter Dinner

Go Hororata invites you to a Mid-Winter Dinner. Join together to celebrate our communities past, present and future. This event is also an opportunity to join in the discussion about the new Hororata Community Centre project.
 
$25.00 per person includes two-course dinner and one complimentary drink.
Tickets available from Hororata Motors (from 24th July). Tickets limited and must be purchased by 14th August.
 
This is not a fundraiser but rather a chance to come together and enjoy an evening of fun, food and friends. All welcome. A cash bar will be operating, no Eftpos. No BYO.
 
This event is brought to you by the Go Hororata Group, a collaborative committee made up of representatives from the Hororata Citizens, Hororata Reserve, Scouts, Rifle Club, Hororata Community Trust, Playcentre, Hororata Primary School, Tennis Club and Hororata Parish working on the new Hororata Community Centre project.

Hororata Parish Spring Fair

Held annually on Labour day this is a great family free fun day out with market stalls, children’s entertainment, a white elephant auction, live music and much more. This year the Hororata Parish will join in the Suffrage 125 celebrations. Celebrating the 125th anniversary of New Zealand woman’s right to vote and the instrumental role local Sir John Hall played in this significant moment in our history.

Homebush Stables Open Day
